Q
What does "Limited Edition" prints mean?
A
"Limited Edition" prints are just that. A limited number of specific photographic images are provided as "Limited Edition" prints. They are 11" x 14" in size. There are a limited number of these images (usually 25 images). All Images are signed and numbered across the bottom of the image. Each image is custom produced for the client when they are ordered.

Q
What happens to the image after the "Limited Edition" has reached it maximum image number?
A
Once the image number has reached its production limit it is retired and not to be reproduced again.

Q
What size options do "Limited Edition" prints come in?
A
The purpose of the images being offered as "Limited Edition" is to make them unique to other images as result they are produced as 11" x 14" only.

Q
Do the "Limited Edition" prints come to me mounted or framed?
A
No. These images are considered special and should be mounted using the clients mounting/framing desires. We can and will mount and or frame them if you wish, however they do not ship mounted/framed. If you would like some ideas or to purchase a mat or frame we have a supplier that carries most anything you need. Some additional pricing may be found on the "Digital Processing" page.

Q
What if I would like a "Limited Edition" print and I'm number 26 of a limited 25?
A
Sorry once the limited number is reached the image is permanently retired.

Q
When I place an order is it secure?

A
Yes. The protocol "http" (hyper text transfer protocol) (i.e.:
http://www.fotoimagesohio.com) at the top of your page is replaced with the
"Https" (hypertext transfer protocol secure) before the web site page. It's used by Pay Pal for their online transactions.

Do you provide digital photography and retouching?

A
Yes we are 100% digital and yes we do offer retouching. We also offer retouching and photograph repairs on old photographs etc. (see the "Digital Processing link for more information).

Q
Who has access to my username and password?
A
The only people that have access to the client's username and password are: Foto Images and the client. With the clients permission we offer a guest username and password for family and friends. Only the client has access to a section called "My Account ". This section contains invoice information etc.

Q
Is your business part of a franchise and if I send you information in an e-mail or fax how do I know who will receive it?
A
No, I am the sole proprietor. I receive, read and respond to all calls, emails and faxes.

Q
How long before my order is complete?
A
This depends again on the time of season and work load. After your order has been placed, in most cases a week.

Q
Filing out my order I'm getting confused. What should I do?
A
Contact us. We try to make it as easy as we can but we understand it can be confusing. We have no problems at all talking you through it.

Q
Will you ship my order to me?

A
Yes we do retouch images including individuals that wear glasses.

Q
What is the best way to contact you?
A
The information is listed above. If you call please leave a voice mail. This is important. We cannot afford the time to screen telemarketers.

Q
May I call and place an order for additional enlargements?
A
Yes you may however we will not release any materials until the invoice is paid in full. Additional pricing may be found on the "Digital Processing" page.

Q
Can I make payments?
A
Unfortunately not any longer. You can however make payments that will be applied toward your invoice total as your package is being assembled.

Q
Why is there a copyright on my images?
A
This is done to prevent illegal copying of our work. The previews on-line have a watermark across the front of the image. This watermark across the front of the image is removed when the enlargements are produced; however the final enlargements will have a small copyright only in at the bottom front of the image.

Q
What is the difference between Matte and Gloss finishes? What do you recommend?
A
The Gloss finish creates a more modern look. The Matte finish creates a softer effect more commonly used in portraits. For portraiture I would suggest the Matte finish.

Q
What is Portrait Type Setting and Print Preservative Protection?
A
Portrait Type Setting provides the individual or group the opportunity to have text printed onto their images using optional type fonts and colors.  Print Preservative Protection is a finish that is applied to the finished photographs which protects them from ultraviolet light and fingerprints etc. in a case where the images may be handled. Pricing can be found in the "Digital Processing" page.

Q
Can you copy our old family photographs and do you send them out?
A
Yes, we do this often. The only exception is if there is a copyright on the image. In this case we will need to have a release form signed. No we do not send the photographs out to anyone. They come here and go no further. We respect and appreciate your images and treat them as such.

Q
Will you mount my images for me in frames etc?
A
Yes, there is a small fee involved however.

Q
Do you offer frames, plaques, albums etc?
A
Yes, we have a supplier that carries most anything you need. Some additional pricing may be found on the "Digital Processing" page.

Q
If I give you film to process and make enlargements do you keep the negative?
A
No. If it's your film you receive the negatives back with your order.
